Dear Hirers,
Following the recent news reports regarding Autobahn, we would like to provide clarity and assurance to all our drivers.
1. It has been publicly reported that the company has applied for a court-supervised moratorium as part of a restructuring exercise. This process provides temporary protection while we work on a recovery plan with our creditors.
2. Despite the reports, our operations remain ongoing. We continue to support all hirers and maintain vehicle availability as we work through this period.
3. We have appointed professional legal and audit firms to oversee a fair, transparent, and structured restructuring process. This ensures that all stakeholders โ including hirers โ are protected.
4. Today, a Case Conference was held in court as part of this process. A Case Conference is a session to manage timelines, organise creditor classes, decide on โpre-packagedโ deals (approved without meetings), and ensure fairness before final court approval โ all aimed at streamlining the companyโs rescue efforts.
