The second August COE exercise saw stronger movements across most categories. Category A recorded the largest increase, rising $4,611 to $128,501, while Category B edged up $1,091 to $131,001. Category C bucked the trend, falling $1,543 to $90,002, while Open Category (Cat E) climbed $4,000 to $135,000.

The first August COE exercise saw mixed movements across the categories. Category A recorded the largest decline, falling $2,110 to $123,890, while Category B edged up just $20 to $129,910. Category C fell $2,344 to $91,545, while Open Category (Cat E) increased $1,029 to $131,000.

The first July COE exercise saw quota premiums rise across all categories, signalling resilient demand amid a 3 week bidding window. Categories A and B led the gains, increasing by $5,153 and $7,387 respectively, while Category C climbed $1,999 and the Open Category edged up by $799. COE premiums may remain firm in the near term amid limited quota supply.

The second June COE exercise saw a broad-based pullback across Categories A, B and C, suggesting demand has softened after the strong bidding activity seen earlier in the month. The only exception was the Open Category, which remained essentially unchanged.
