Vehicle make & model: Lexus GS300/350

Diagnosis: Customer came by last week to have his throttle body removed and throughly cleaned professionally with a computerized reset of the throttle settings once cleaned.
Before proceeding to the above-mentioned service, we realised the intake pipe was frail, hardened and cracking like biscuits, even the throttle body connector!

Customer immediately requested to replace all broken “biscuit” parts however we needed time to import a few parts from Japan directly.
Managed to import the necessary parts and the photos will tell you the rest of the story!

PRO TIP OF THE DAY TO ALL CAR OWNERS: Did you know that your engine bay consists of plastic, rubber, fibre & etc? This doesn’t handle heat well and it wears out overtime. Do your due diligence to check your vehicles!
