Charge+ Chief Operating & Commercial Officer, Koh Xiao Han, is pleased to be interviewed in Eco-Business latest article exploring how Southeast Asia can continue to sustain and accelerate its EV adoption growth rates, considering factors such as policy support, infrastructure rollout, and cross-border collaboration.

In the article, Charge+ shared the following key messages:

1) Charging infrastructure is a major determinant of EV adoption and it is important to ensure an even distribution of EV charging points across all cities and not only focus on major cities in the Southeast Asia countries. Secondary cities, rural areas and intercity routes remain underserved and this discourages longer-distance travel and limits broader EV adoption;

2) It is important for charge point operators to overcome practical barriers such as grid capacity and site availability, as this will also be critical to scaling EV charging infrastructure across the region.

3) The region's biggest challenge is no longer persuading people to buy EVs, but ensuring EV drivers can travel confidently wherever they need to go. Charge+ is not simply deploying chargers—it is building the backbone of Southeast Asia's electric mobility ecosystem.

Charge+ is proud to launch Singapore's largest EV charging cluster in the East and Northeast regions of Singapore, with 38 EV charging points. Located in Giant, IKEA, COURTS and T-Space in close proximity to each other at Tampines Retail Park, this integrated charging cluster combines fast and destination charging, making it easier than ever for EV drivers to power up while they shop, dine and run everyday errands.

Officially launched by Mr. Baey Yam Keng 马炎庆 Minister of State for Transport and for Culture, Community and Youth, and Mayor of the North East District, this milestone reinforces our commitment to building a convenient, accessible and affordable charging network that supports Singapore's transition towards cleaner mobility.

Part of this charging cluster includes a fast charging hub, comprising six DC charging points, at Giant Hypermarket. This fast charging hub supports the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore's vision of establishing a network of fast charging hubs across Singapore, including at least one in every HDB town, to complement the islandwide rollout of overnight and destination charging.

Located strategically along the TPE expressway which runs to Changi Airport and connects to the nearby PIE expressway, this charging cluster will conveniently serve many HDB towns in the East and Northeast such as Tampines, Pasir Ris, Punggol and Sengkang.

With free parking at all the charging stations, seamless access to retail amenities, and the biggest loyalty rebates for EV charging in Singapore of up to 18% rebates through the DBS yuu Visa Card, we are delivering even greater value to drivers while accelerating EV adoption.

Charge+ is pleased to announce our master agreement with Caltex Thailand to install DC chargers in the service stations across the country, as signed by Charge+ CEO Chee Kiong Goh and SPRC VP, Retail Business Development Khun Kal Santasawang (Caltex).

Charge+ charging stations will be coming soon to Caltex service stations in key locations that include Bangkok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Rayong, Khon Kaen and Songkhla. This expansion will bring EV charging to more convenient locations to serve the fast-growing EV community in Thailand.

Charge+ had a smashing time at ChargedUp Singapore 2026 conference!

Our CEO Chee Kiong Goh joined Valerie Lim (ChargedUp), Ricky Lin (Life3 Biotech) and Dennis Ng (Mober Technology) on the panel “Unlocking the Next Wave of EV Adoption in Southeast Asia”, moderated by Sarah Fairhurst. Chee Kiong shared his perspectives on the nuances across the fast-growing Southeast Asian markets and what it takes to unlock the region’s next phase of EV growth.

Our COO Koh Xiao Han spoke on the “Charging Infrastructure for Business Adoption: Workplace, Commercial & Destination Deployment” panel, alongside Jonathan Tan (Singapore Power), Ted Jankowski (PlugIt) and Koh Jie Meng (Electric), moderated by Rishab Jain (KPMG), sharing perspectives on how Charge+ can generate new value for our EV drivers through affordable charging fees and long-distance driving convenience through our DC charging backbone in SEA.

Charge+ has just launched our 120kW Turbo charger at T-One, Bangkok with Thailand's iconic entrepreneur, Khun Tan Passakornnatee (Executive Chairman of Ichitan Group and famed marketer).

Located next to Thong Lor BTS station, T-One office building serves as the HQ for Khun Tan. EV drivers can conveniently juice up while enjoying the amenities in the renowned Sukhumvit belt.

We are also glad to have our strategic partner CH Pattana Managing Director, Khun Karoon Kijkunasatien join us for the event.
