Charge+ COO Xiao Han Koh spoke at the Christmas Mixer event organised by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Singapore (CILT). The event also celebrated the 10th Anniversary of WiLAT (Women in Logistics & Transport) SG — a decade of empowering women and advancing leadership in logistics and transport.
With the theme as “A Greener Future in Supply Chain’, the panel also included Ms Amrita Khadilkar, DHL APAC; Ms Ivy Teo, Enterprise Singapore; and Ms Jaisey Yip, Changi Airport Group, moderated by Vicky Koo. Xiao Han took the opportunity to share about the promise of EVs and the latest technologies underpinning the success of EVs.
It was illuminating to hear Ivy Teo talk about Singapore policies on promoting sustainability in the transport and logistics sector, Amrita Khadilkar share on how DHL operates more than 40,000 EVs globally today and is on track to electrify 60% of its pick-up and delivery vehicles by 2030, and Jaisey Yip share about the multiple prongs which CAG had embarked on to make Changi Airport more sustainable which included encouraging more EV usage at the airport.
Importantly, we are heartened that the transport and logistics sector is steadily taking on sustainability as an imperative. Congratulations to CILT and WiLAT for a super evening of building connections.
