Audi has arrived for the Singapore Grand Prix, and it brought something rather special.

The Audi R26 was unveiled at the Audi House of Progress wearing a special Singapore livery for the marque’s first Formula 1 night race here. Dubbed ‘The Art of Influence’, the design features subtle Singapore-inspired details across the rear wing and sidepods.

And we weren’t short on racing royalty either. Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto were joined by Allan McNish - three-time Le Mans winner and former F1 driver, now a key figure in Audi’s Formula 1 programme - to get the weekend started.

Hyundai has unveiled the all-new ELEXIO in Singapore, introducing a new electric SUV built around the brand’s “Beyond Innovation” philosophy.

The ELEXIO pairs its distinctive Cosmic Cube pixel LED lighting and 20-inch “plum blossom” alloy wheels with a minimalist, plastic-free cabin dominated by an ultra-thin 27-inch 4K panoramic display and panoramic glass roof.

Practicality hasn’t been forgotten either - there’s a 506-litre boot, expanding to 1,540-litres with the rear seats folded, while V2L capability adds another useful dimension to everyday ownership.

Safety is another major focus, with nine airbags, alongside Hyundai SmartSense driver-assistance systems. The ELEXIO was also awarded a five-star ANCAP rating.

Distributed by Komoco Motors - which marks 40 years representing Hyundai in Singapore this year - the new ELEXIO will also be showcased at The Car Expo on 24–25th October at Singapore Expo.

Small car, big night out. BYD officially launched the new ATTO 1 at Zouk Singapore last evening, introducing what is now the brand’s smallest and most affordable EV here.

At just 3,925 mm long and 1,720 mm wide, the ATTO 1 is properly city-sized - shorter than the BYD Dolphin. Yet there’s still seating for five and a useful 308-litre boot, making this more than simply a two-person urban runabout. It delivers up to 322 km of WLTP range.

Perhaps the number that matters most in Singapore, though? S$169,888 with guaranteed COE at launch - putting a brand-new BYD EV into a particularly interesting part of the small-car market.

Small footprint, sensible range and a price that could make the ATTO 1 a rather significant little car for BYD Singapore.
