Summary of the race weekend at KJULA DRAGWAY 2.0
This was a good race weekend that finally ended with a new PB.
We finally got the right setting with the slip valve on the clutch. We started little soft with the tuning and turn it up after every run. It ended with new PB at 60 feet, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile.
8.36@168 mph with some driver issue between first and second gear and released the throttle a little too early, after 7.9s 🤣

But this is a very good ground for the next race.
For the next race we will turn up the boost pressure more and hope it will be another PB.

I want to thank my wife and everyone in our team for this race weekend, you made this possible ❤️🙏🙂

The first race of the season didn’t go as we wanted 👎🏻
We broke a tooth on the intermediate shaft in the gearbox.
Now we hope that PPG can deliver the parts we need quickly so we can get the car together for the next race at KJULA DRAGWAY 2.0 in 4 weeks.

Between the work on the customer cars I have had some time to do things on our Drag Evo. I have mounted the new mechanical fuelpump, cleaned and checked the injectors, fuelsystem, polished the rims and mounted new M/T ET DRAG slicks. Just start it up and check everything, then it’s race ready. The plan for the first race is in 3 weeks.

The work on Kaputten Racings car is done. We have installed FuelTech FT550 with FT Nano lamba, FT power driver to eGate and EGT 8 CAN.

It's been a long time since there was an update but a few things have happened.

HPT 8280 its mounted on our Drag Evo.

I had to change the gearbox housing also.
It was leaking oil and there was a crack that couldn't be repaired.

The new gearbox housing is water blasted and looks great 👌🏻
I also installed the billet 1-2 shift fork from White Shed Speed in my PPGdogbox 👍🏻

We have upgraded our fuel pump to a MagnaFuel pro outlaw 1000 mechanical fuel pump for our Drag Evo. We are installing the old red Aeromotive on Eijvor. Both of our cars need more fuel now 😀
