Three is the magic number. New FRONT SUB version 3.0 is by far the best version.

Sub plays on the dash, no resonance that drags down the sound stage, it plays open in a very natural way. And I can cut it very high if I want to. Really exited, this is what I hoped for.

Built in 19mm MDF with small parts and straightened with extra support and thickness critical areas like sides and the front baffle.

New EMMA 2026 Rulebook. what actually changed (and what it means for competitors)

I’ve gone through the new rulebook and compared it to 2024. There are no dramatic changes at first glance, but in reality the competition just got more demanding.

Here are the key takeaways:

Sound judging
The criteria are the same, but the judging is stricter and more consistent.
Tonal accuracy now clearly outweighs “impressive” sound.
Less room for interpretation means your system needs to be right, not just exciting.

Installation
No changes are allowed between judging sessions anymore. What you present is what gets judged.
Transparency is more important. You may need to show and explain your install.
Clean, logical and well-engineered builds are rewarded over flashy solutions.

Subwoofer placement
This is where things get more strict in practice.
Subwoofer placement is now judged more consistently, with less room for interpretation.
Front sub concepts are not banned, but they must comply with class rules and must not negatively affect staging or reveal their position.

Reflection
With the increased focus on natural sound over “wow effect”, it will be interesting to see how systems are judged in relation to sub level.
In recent years many builds have pushed sub levels significantly, often around +9 dB compared to the rest of the RTA curve.
Going forward, it becomes important that EMMA clearly defines what is considered “natural”, so competitors can align their tuning accordingly.

What this means in reality
The level hasn’t just increased. The margin for mistakes has decreased.
You need a system that is balanced, repeatable and technically correct.
Small details will decide the results more than ever.

My takeaway
2026 is less about creating a “wow effect” and more about achieving true realism and control.

If you are competing this year, focus on refinement, not reinvention.

More insights and real competition learnings will be shared here.

My good friend Olle is selling his Expert Car. This car is extremely well built and sounds crazy good. I was convinced it would win the Expert Limited class at Euro finals this year.

European Champion… but this is not just my story.

There is one person I need to thank properly.
Marian Gadau the owner of Art in Motion.

When I lost motivation, he was there.
When things felt heavy, he listened.
When I doubted, he did not try to convince me, he reflected with me.
And somehow, he always helped me find my way back.

That kind of support is rare.

Many people see Marian as what he obviously is,
an incredibly skilled and intelligent creator,
someone who designs and builds ultra high end speakers,
someone who can combine beautiful design with engineering at the highest level,
and someone who truly understands what it takes to build and tune cars that win championships.

But what many do not see is this:

He puts others before himself.
He puts the team before the individual.

And that is the real reason why Art in Motion keeps growing.

Behind the results there is constant testing, evaluation and iteration at a speed most people would not believe.
But also something just as important, humor, laughter and joy.

Even when the pressure is at its highest, Marian finds a way to keep the energy up, to keep us going, to keep us believing.

That combination is rare.
And it is not luck that he succeeds in what he does.

I am proud to be part of this journey.
And I am deeply grateful for everything you have done, not just for the team, but for me personally.

Without you, this championship would not have happened.

Thank you, Marian 🙏

Chasing the dream. Became European Champion. 🏆

What a weekend at EMMA Eurofinals.

Standing there with the trophy in my hand was unreal. But honestly, I felt like a winner long before the awards ceremony. The love, the laughter and the energy within our team has been something special.

Art in Motion delivered an incredible result.
Ten podium finishes across the team.
The most successful team of the event.

We are a mix of people from Sweden, Romania, Italy and Finland, with friends from Indonesia supporting us along the way. Different backgrounds, same passion. The connection and support within this team is something I will carry with me for a long time.

As for the car…
After countless hours in the garage, testing, rebuilding and refining, it finally came together. It sounds exactly how I dreamed it would.

The decision to change car and go all in on a new setup 1.5 years ago was not easy. The journey has been challenging at times. But standing here now, it was absolutely the right choice.

Grateful. Proud. Hungry for more.

Pillars ready! Stage feels really nice with good hight all the way to the sides. Impressive sized pillars on the Tesla Y gave rom for jet engine design with requested volume for mids. I couldn’t have reached this results without help from the team. ”Art in motion” rocks ❤️ so special thanks to Elvis, Norbert and Marian. Now time for some serious tuning.
