Pro International Drift build on a Mazda RX8 with a Corvette 7.0 liter V8 (LS7). Project Rise is a dedication to rise up, to get back after a fire took it all. We start without money, without tools, without a garage and will build a PROINT drift car within 3 years. Step by step, nut by nut.

And we analyse our way toward the final solution for the LS/GS6-53DZ adapter with engineer Andreas Örvill.

And yes... once we get this to work for our two cars we will build a kit so the rest of you guys can enjoy the strengt and rigidity of the 53DZ, leaving the M3 and GS5 trannys for the rest.

Working insane hours with the racing season in Drivers Club as its new owner. But meanwhile we had some help from Andreas Örvill designing the BMW GS6-53DZ transmission to Chevy LS V8 adapter with our instructions.

We have a few ideas how to sort this out.

A full day in the garage solving the rear end geometry, we got some new ideas after SPEEDLAB's race car suspension workshop at PBZ.se yesterday.

Still "that" cold in the garage, you see the moist of every breath.

After literally hundred adjustments, and repositionings, we think that we finally have the beastly Camaro SS gen5 differential in place, with axels and hubs. And since, nothing on Camaro setup is symmetrical, what a headache it was.

Prototype fitting in place, so now we will let it rest for a while, loosen and re-torque, in a few days. Take new measurements and hopefully we can go ahead and start making our custom multilink mockups.

I will try to get you guys some more pics next time

As the temperature in the garage have been been far below 0 degrees celcius, and some days below -20 degrees for the last months. Thats -4 Fahrenheit for you oversea guys, it havent been really worth fighting the cold. But as the snow melts the will to continue to build is increased, we're soon back.

Meanwhile I've actually went to Britain and bought not one, but two RX8's. So thats actually the 3rd and 4th 8s, I've sold the previous daily but missed it too much.

With these we wont miss the trackday opportunites this season as the real build still is in the garage.

Unfortunately we didn't make it today.We will have to redo the rims and use another method than trying to two tone the p...

Unfortunately we didn't make it today.
We will have to redo the rims and use another method than trying to two tone the plasti dip.

But, we are extremely satisfied with the design, it will have the pop in our sponsor NP-DÄCK yellow and black.
