YES! We had to go racing on the ice for one more weekend 😃🏁🏎
This time we had the opportunity to borrow a GoPro camera from Richard Ljunggren to bring you inside the car for some action.
Sorry for the poor contrasts. White snow with sunshine on it is very bright! We also didn't realize the camera was in a water proof case and would limit the sound very much.
However- enjoy!

This is what we do during the winter at Sideways.🏁🏎😀
Studded WRC winter rally tyres on our R&D car (not our race car but yes; very similar looking)
It is just like driving a Healey on tarmac but with half the grip and with a constant level of grip. No matter if you slide a little or a lot.
It is sooo much fun 4-wheel drifting flat out in third gear!
The car has an all steel rally engine, straight-cut gearkit, L*D, discs all round etc. It is bullet proof and used for all sorts of testing, development and fun☺️

It is not often we have the time to race but when we do, we do it properly 🏎️🏁💪
Knutstorp Raceway is a mini Nürburgring with its’ constant ups and downs, rights and lefts. There is not much rest for the driver and a Healey is not the ideal car on this great but twisty circuit.
After a weekend of wet, partly wet, partly dry and dry conditions Anders crossed the line in true Sideways style with opposite-lock in Race 1 as 1st in GT-65 class (by about half a minute) and 5th overall. In front? Mini Coopers. Behind? Ginetta G4R, Lotus Elan, Ford Galaxy, Falcon, Turner GT, MGBTVR and more.
Race 2 started off in dry conditions, much better for the GT cars, and Anders got the Healey flying past 5 Cooper S’s before the first corner. 🚀
Managing to pull a gap at first before the Ginetta came for a challange. Not much to do when a full race Lotus Twin cam with four wheels mounted to it appears in the mirrors…
2nd place overall beaten only by 3 sec is still good😁🏎️
A great weekend in front of friends and family.
And also a great chance to market and show Millers Oils Sweden👍

We are thrilled to announce that this immaculate FIA prepared Healey 3000 is for sale.
In fact it is our own race car from 2008 until 2012. It was built during winter 2007-2008 from ground up with a new chassis, inner body, full aluminium outer body and full FIA race spec on engine, gearbox, axle, brakes, suspension etc.
Since 2013 it has been raced by the current owner until 2016 when it had a minor incident. The owner decided to have the car fully nut and bolt restored, up-graded and painted in BRG.
When ready priorities changed and the car has had regular annual servicing and running but never entered any race. Recently we did a full race-prep and it is ready to load on a trailer and head of to any circuit to be driven flat out.🏁🏎
Certainly price to sell at £125 000 (a real bargain at a fraction of the build cost😱)

Success after a very challenging weekend!😀
Svenskt Sportvagnsmeeting celebrated 50th anniversary last weekend. A race weekend that must not be missed!
A big challenge laid ahead with a field filled of Lotus Elans, Cobra Daytona, TVR Griffith, Ginetta G4R and more.
We didn't exactly have the fastest car on the grid but qualifying in rain helped us take pole position for Race 1.
Race 1 dry - Great start and P1 into the first corner. Passed on the second lap by the Ginetta and then spent the whole race battling two Lotus Elans. Lesson learned - prepare for a lot of panel-beating if there is an ex-rallycross driver behind you. Three hits and one forcing of the track situation. P2 when the flag dropped 👍
Strategy for Race 2 - be quicker.🏎
Started the race from 4th on a damp track. P1 into the first corner and managed to build up an extensive gap on the drying track.
Crossed the finish line as 1st with ~12 sec margin.
In total, pole, 1st, 2nd and best overall result in the heat 🏁🏎

Carbron Fibre Hardtops and Transmission Tunnels🏎🏁
We constantly look at new products to develop and recently we invested in new moulds for our hard tops and transmission tunnels. And of course we made the new tools not only for Fibre Glass but also for vacuum injected Carbon Fibre moulding.
The quality is now even better and as you can see on the photos even the details, edges, corners etc are very good.
The photos represents the products straight out of the mould - no polishing, clear coat etc.
With very fine sanding and clear coat the surface will be superb✨

Vi bygger till ytterligare och kommer kunna erbjuda 1 - 2 lokaler till under hösten.
Aktuella lokaler är på ca 130kvm fördelat på 90kvm i markplan och ca 40kvm på ett entresolplan.
Dusch, toalett, värempump och god isolering gör att lokalerna passar för en mängd verksamheter.
Pris beroende på eventuella anpassningar och kotraktslängd. Riktmärke ca 11 000kr/mån.

NEW PRODUCTS!
We continuously develop new product or improve our existing.
Let us present two of them:
1. Fuel tank 50 liter - we made this tank for both road and race cars and with the very different fuels available at the pumps today in mind. This tank is completely free from any internal pick-up hoses in either rubber or plastic that can be so easily damaged by fuel additives such as ethanol or various Bio ingredients . Instead we used use aluminium pipes and the problem is eliminated. All our tanks are FIA eligible and has two pick ups and one sump for maximum emptying.
2. Spin-on oil filter conversion kit. We have offered this kit for a long time and it was very good...but it could still be improved. We managed to make the adapter 53% lighter and added the text "UP" to prevent customers from mounting them up-side down and blocking oil flow. The kit is complete with gaskets and bolts and fits with the oil cooler adapter if extra oil cooling is needed as well.

Superb ending to the season at Falkenberg Motorbana🏁🏎
Pole position
1st Race 1 and fastest lap
1st Race 2 and fastest lap
Both car and driver delivered peak performance for the final race of the season.
