From concept to finished product.

Every do88 product is developed in-house at our headquarters in Nykvarn, Sweden, and the charge cooler manifold for the BMW S58 is no exception.

Swipe through the development process:
• Slide 1 – 3D-printed prototype used to verify fitment and refine the design.
• Slide 2 – The first aluminium prototype, manufactured for real-world testing.
• Slide 3 – The finished ICM-450-K installed on the engine.
• Slide 4 – The original BMW intake manifold for comparison.

Every project starts by identifying a real challenge. From there, we 3D-scan the engine bay, design and optimize the product in CAD, validate the design with CFD analysis, and produce prototypes for fitment and performance testing. If something isn't good enough, we refine the design and test again.

Only once we're satisfied with the results and fitment does the product move into production. The final version is thoroughly tested, documented and supplied with detailed installation instructions, ensuring it performs as intended and installs just like it should.

It's a process that takes time, but it's how we develop products that deliver measurable performance without compromising fitment or quality.

It all started with SAAB and Volvo 🇸🇪

Long before do88 developed performance intercoolers, radiators and intake systems for cars from around the world, our journey began with silicone hose kits for Swedish classics like Volvo and Saab.

Almost 20 years later, these cars are still an important part of our history, and a reminder of where it all began.

Some roots are worth remembering. 💙

"No chain is stronger than its weakest link" as the saying goes. The very normal looking turbo inlet hose you see here makes all the difference for the Volkswagen MK8 Golf GTI/R. Changing the air intake is a common first mod for these cars, but the turbo inlet hose is often overlooked as a less noticeable mod, but what do the numbers say?

do88 V2 intake: 44% airflow increase with stock turbo inlet hose.
do88 turbo inlet hose: 26% airflow increase with stock air intake.
Both combined: 84% airflow increase over stock.

As we can see there's a huge jump in performance when both parts of the intake system are upgraded, no chain is stronger than its weakest link 😉

In the very same city where our journey began back in 2007. And as we continue to grow, so does our capacity, the warehouse was expanded just last year to keep even more products on the shelves and get orders out even faster.

do88 söker en Inköpsansvarig som tar helhetsansvar för bolagets inköps- och försörjningsflöde – en av verksamhetens mest affärskritiska funktioner.

Rollen är en central del av den succession som nu genomförs i bolaget. Tillsammans med ny VD och ny produktutvecklingschef kommer du att ingå i bolagets framtida ledningsgrupp och bidra till nästa fas av do88:s utveckling.

Rollen har två fokusområden. Dels inköp, leverantörsstyrning, lageroptimering och supply chain, dels ekonomisk rapportering, problemlösning och övriga administrativa uppgifter.
