Jlr statement on cyber attack.

For a few days we have experienced problems with our parts program. Whilst the home page looks fine, all of the leading pages are blocked so we cannot access parts information for any vehicle, which also includes the chassis specific function we use. We thought originally this was a " glitch" and would soon be restored, but it would seem the problem is far bigger than we realised and Jlr have now ceased production as their systems have been hacked.

How does this affect us. Well, of course we can look up parts using good old Google, and from the few paper parts catalogues we have, but as most of you know many parts have superceded several times over, and what's good for one defender td5 will not for another, so it will take longer to try and make sure we get the right parts for the right vehicle.

What this means for you. Whilst we will endeavour to keep on track, there will almost certainly be delays. Not just in the time it takes to order parts but as our suppliers try tackle their own issues in stock management issues .

So we apologise in advance if there are any delays caused by this but we are doing our best to keep it together, and we hope we can ask for understanding and patience from our customers until Jlr can solve their issues.

JLR has been impacted by a cyber incident.  We took immediate action to mitigate its impact by proactively shutting down our systems. We're back! So here's an update...

After a horrendous fire and losing everything, including Bill, we have continued to fight the good fight. A Land Rover enthusiast will never say die! So we're back, with a new rebuild project and we want to share the journey with you!
