During the last weeks some team members participated at ”Barnens Motordag” at Mantorp-park together with the other swedish solarteams. A fun day with a lot of interesting conversations.

We also visited some companies to look at potential ways of building some features in the car

The project is starting to move forward and we are very excited for what shall come🔥✨

A few weeks ago the new team began their journey towards the Bridgestone World Solar challenge 2027✨

Yesterday we organized an event to honor the partners who contributed to team 2025. The event was held in the gallery at Jönköping University, where we introduced ourselves as the new team, and team 2025 expressed their gratitude to everyone supporting them during their project💕

We are thankful to the participating companies and everyone who made it a successful evening. Thank you all for attending and making it a special evening

After two years as part of JU Solar Team, it is time for us to hand things over ⭐️

What started as a project quickly became something much bigger — long days, challenges, teamwork, and experiences we will carry with us far beyond this team. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported us along the way. None of this would have been possible without you.

As some of us move on to new studies and working life, we do so knowing that being part of JU Solar Team has shaped us in ways that will stay with us.

Next week, a new team steps in. A few of us will remain involved as mentors to support the transition. If you need to get in touch with the right person going forward, feel free to reach out and we will help you.

Thank you for being part of JU Solar Team 2025’s journey. We are proud to hand things over to the next team and look forward to supporting them, cheering them on, and following everything they will accomplish ⭐️

The 2025 team chose to integrate Ensten’s Current One system as the core of our electrical architecture ⭐️

Designed for efficiency and reliability, Current One provides stable performance and minimizes energy loss throughout the competition — allowing the team to focus on optimizing aerodynamics, telemetry, and energy management.

Ensten commented:

“We’re proud to have contributed our experience and technology to support the team’s success at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2025, and we look forward to future collaborations that push the limits of solar mobility.”

Thank you , for the help — we’re glad to have this collaboration! ⭐️

Today, visited the School of Engineering at Jönköping University to learn more about our civil engineering programs! ⭐️

Three students from JU Solar Team, all studying Product Development and Industrial Design Engineering, held a presentation, a quiz, and a fun challenge where the visitors built cars out of LEGO.

We also presented our solar car project, talked about our journey to Australia, and showed the 2023 solar car 🏎️

Great to see so many engaged students! ⭐️

Yesterday, the Technical School of Jönköping welcomed us home! ⭐️

They shared their excitement about our current position in the competition — 8th place!

We were celebrated for arriving a full day earlier than any JU Solar Team has done before, for being the best Swedish team, and for breaking the Nordic record!

Many people came to listen and show their support, and we were even treated to a free lunch.

A big thank you for the warm welcome, and to the school for organizing everything for us — we are truly grateful! ⭐️

A Journey to Remember ⭐️

Twelve days ago, we crossed the finish line at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. It was the moment that closed a chapter we had been writing for a year and a half — one filled with challenges, determination, and teamwork.

From countless late nights to unexpected setbacks, this project has pushed us in ways we never imagined. But it also gave us moments of pure joy, breakthroughs we celebrated together, and the chance to build something extraordinary as one team.

This time, all that work led to something historic: we reached the finish line six hours faster than the previous Swedish team — and for the first time ever, a Nordic team crossed the finish line a full day earlier than anyone before us.

The result? 8th place in the world and a new Swedish and Nordic record. But more than anything, we are proud of the journey itself — of everything we learned, everyone who supported us, and the memories we’ll carry with us forever.

To our sponsors, families, and friends: thank you for believing in us. This achievement belongs to all of you too ⭐️

We’ve now passed the first – and very last – checkpoint of the race: Port Augusta! ⭐️

It opened yesterday, August 27th, and will close tomorrow, August 29th. We’ve driven approximately 2,720 km from Darwin, which was our starting line.

Nils was the first driver, then handed over to Kevin, who is now driving the final stretch for today. Wish us good luck! 🙌
