How was your weekend? Ours was fun and exiting (and somewhat exhausting...) The -34 Ford Ardun shake down continued while nice potential Salt Slush customers came by for a good tech talk. The sky was clear and there was no rain...whicjäh is rare in Gothenburg.

That's when you crank up your Beauville Chevy Van, that's been sitting for a while and head out on the southbound highway to fight all the norwegian electric cars...and yes, the Panhead is now in a safe place. A good day.

After several years of thinking, do-it-yourself and "work-with-the-best" Kalle's strategy has paid off. The vehicle behaves like a modern vehicle. Handling, body solidity and powertrain response is top notch. Yes, there are a small things few thing to tune and that's good...because we all want to strive for and dream about what's almost impossible. Don't we?

Not ready yet...but still, even if it's a small step for mankind, it's giant leap for our Ford 34-Ardun V8 project. The french military flathead V8 that we bought from Thomas Terreng, the Ardun head that Don Ferguson delivered at Bonneville Speed Week combined, the -39 tranmission that bought from Alan Mest and carried home in beer cooler, and not the least, the Ford -34 cab that supplied...is now assembled and running. After years of interesting struggle and events I'll never will forget. Anything else? The Meredes 6.9 is now a daily driver and Johan came by with his Jaguar XJ6 with 502 big block. A cool cat.

As we're planning for landspeed racimg 2026 I looked for shorts...and eventually, I found this video from spring 2025. Love it. The sound, the golden Californian sunlight...we were so exited to test our at El Mirage the day after.

First, this what we're not doing today;
1. Racing with our 449 Amazon at SCTA El Mirage (which happens this weekend, go to Youtube now to check it out live!)
2. Shipping turbos/transmissions /superchargers to our customers on a Sunday (because we can't)

Here's what Salt Slush did instead:
1. Starting up our Ardun -34 Ford Hot Rod. Headers manufactured. Engine, transmission and instrument OK.
2. Playing around with Kalles 150cc Vespa while thinking about La Dolce Vita.
