Karl has secured his place at the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Rotax E10 category, taking place November 7–14 in Portimão, Portugal! 🇵🇹

As the first driver in 4WIN Race Academy to qualify for the Grand Finals, Karl has achieved something truly special. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement and what it represents.

The Grand Finals bring together the best Rotax drivers from around the world — a dream and one of the biggest opportunities in the Rotax racing family.

The preparation continues. Training, setup testing, sim racing and countless hours of work. Karl is locked in, and the whole team is ready to give it everything.

SUMMARY

SENIOR CATEGORY
Qualifying pace remained a challenge, but the team made significant progress throughout the weekend. By the Final, our race pace was much stronger, around two tenths off the front. Over the winter, we'll focus on qualifying performance, kart preparation and alternative strategies to fight for podiums from the start. Jonathan also secured P11 overall in the highly competitive Senior Category RMC championship, a big congrats to him!

JUNIOR CATEGORY
Milo continued to improve throughout his debut season in Junior. Racecraft and consistency remain key focus areas, and we're looking forward to seeing him return next year with a full season of experience behind him.

ROTAX E10
A huge highlight for 4WIN Race Academy! Karl showed outstanding pace, qualified P2 and was among the fastest throughout practice. A brake issue unfortunately ended his race early, but the team managed to get him back on track to finish and secure valuable points.

More importantly, Karl won the Rotax E10 Swedish Championship, securing his ticket to the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal! A historic milestone in the debut season of the E10 class and a massive achievement for Karl and the team.

A strong end to the season, valuable lessons across all classes and a clear plan for the winter. We're already working towards coming back stronger in 2027.

SUMMARY

SENIOR CATEGORY

Our home race brought high expectations, but the weekend didn't start as planned. Despite decent pace during practice, qualifying proved difficult, leaving Jonathan P32, Winston P34, Pierre P37 and Ralf P39.

The team fought back strongly throughout the heats, with three drivers securing a place in the Final. Winston unfortunately missed out after a challenging series of races.

In the dry Final, the team delivered an impressive drive, Pierre climbed 14 positions from P27 to P13. Jonathan gained 12 positions to finish P14, while Ralf fought his way from P19 to P17.

A strong recovery from a difficult start, with the team showing improved pace and excellent racecraft.

JUNIOR CATEGORY

Milo Weldeborn continues to make significant progress in Rotax Junior. With increased preparation and training, he delivered some great battles in the rear pack and finished P16 out of 17 drivers.

His growing confidence and improved pace are clear signs that the hard work is paying off.

CADETTI CATEGORY

Another promising performance from Kian Karlsson!

Kian started the day with an impressive sequence of results: P1, P2 and P1 in his first three races. Unfortunately, incidents in the final race affected his result, leaving him P8 overall.

Once again, Kian demonstrated excellent pace and great potential. As the youngest driver in our academy, it's a real pleasure to follow his development and be part of his racing journey!

Next stop: The final round of the Swedish Rotax Max Challenge — Prins Carl Philips Racing Pokal, September 25–26. 🏁

A little team competition never hurts. 🎢

A day at Liseberg with the team (those who could make it) — five-a-side challenges, rides, laughs and plenty of competition.

Great teamwork, some serious effort, and maybe a few arguments about who actually won...! 😂

Definitely one for the books. And maybe a repeat next summer?

SUMMARY

SENIOR CATEGORY

Round six took us to Gelleråsen Arena for a special RMC event held alongside Kanonloppet. A fantastic weekend with a great atmosphere, big crowds and plenty of racing action. A huge credit to Gelleråsen Arena - Karlskoga for a very well-organized event.

Thursday practice started very promising, with the team showing top-ten pace. However, the pace dropped significantly towards qualifying, leaving Ralf P22, Jonathan P34 and Winston P41.

From there, the team fought back. Small chassis adjustments brought the pace back and Jonathan and Winston managed to advance through the heats and qualify for the Final. Ralf unfortunately missed out after the Semifinal, with only 36 drivers advancing to the Final.

Jonathan delivered one of the strongest drives of the weekend, climbing from P24 to P9 in the Final. A great result and a clear sign that the work on racecraft is paying off.

Winston fought through a turbulent weekend with several incidents but still managed to recover from P41 to P29. Ralf had an excellent qualifying but struggled more in the heats. His pace is clearly there, and racecraft will be a key focus moving forward.

E10 CATEGORY

Karl delivered an outstanding weekend in E10. Starting P2, he finished P2 in the first two Finals, won the third and finished P3 in the fourth.

That result puts Karl at the top of the E10 championship standings heading into the final event, where the championship and a ticket to the World Final in Portugal will be decided.

A weekend of ups and downs, but the team fought back, learned a lot and proved once again that the pace is there.

Next stop: Göteborgs Stora Pris — September 5–6. Our home race. 💪

SENIOR CATEGORY:
A massive weekend for the team and one of our strongest overall performances so far.

Jonathan Marcusson achieved his best career result with a P5 finish after starting P9. Jonathan fought inside the top positions throughout the race and was battling for the podium until the final corners of the last lap. An outstanding performance showing huge progress in racecraft and confidence.

Winston Hellegren delivered his best career result as well, climbing from P25 to P14 in the Final with an impressive 11-position gain.

Ralf Norell fought through a turbulent weekend but managed to qualify from the B-Final into the main Final, where he climbed through the field to P26 with competitive pace.

Lukas Strand also showed strong progression throughout the weekend, fighting his way up to P25 and continuing to build confidence and speed race by race.

JUNIOR CATEGORY:
Another important learning weekend for Milo Weldeborn in Rotax Junior. As a debutant, Milo continues closing the gap to the field and was now fighting within the same tenths as drivers ahead around him. A very positive development curve and great progress once again.

CADETTI CATEGORY:
Another podium finish for Kian Karlsson! 🏆

Kian showed excellent speed and consistency throughout the entire weekend, improving session by session and securing another P2 finish for the team with a very mature performance.

Overall, every driver showed strong progress throughout the weekend and the team continues taking important steps forward.
