SLON-WORKSHOP BMW F82/F83 M4 CARBON FIBER REAR BUMPER CARRIER

BMW decided to cut corners in some areas for F8X series M owners, resulting in M2/3/4 models using the same bumper mounting supports as the standard non-M models. As enthusiasts are well aware how all the way back in the E46 days we started seeing the use of composite materials in bumper mounting supports for the M models, upgraded from the main series' inexpensive (and not particularly lightweight) mostly steel components.

We’ve already addressed this issue with the front element of the M2/3/4 F-series cars, and now it’s time to correct it with the rear support. We are proud to present our lightweight version of the rear bumper support, crafted using our extensive expertise with both the highest grade of structural carbon fiber combined with CNC-machined, aircraft-grade billet aluminum.

As a result of our work, we’ve created an extraordinarily light, incredibly rigid engineering component, transforming the modest OEM part into a true masterpiece.

Main advantages:

- Low weight – 1.7 kg/3.75lbs (Standard version weight: 4.5 kg/10.0lbs for Euro market cars & 8.5kg/18.7lbs for US market cars)

SLON-WORKSHOP F8x series CARBON FIBER FRONT BUMPER CARRIER

F8x series M models sharing bumper mounting support with usual non M models from factory, but on previous models BMW preferred to use lightweight composite units instead of aluminum.

We decided to solve this misstep and make lightweight and very rigid piece of art instead of modest oem part.

Here our version of the front bumper support for F8x M series models.
