France's Fast Charter Yacht Does 48 Knots

Most yachts on the French Riviera cruise at 20-25 knots. The Pershing 8X does 48, that's not a typo, that's the top speed of a 25-meter Italian performance yacht built in 2023, currently based near Monaco and available for weekly charter.
Pershing has always built fast boats. What the 8X adds to that reputation is a completely rethought interior: panoramic windows that flood every space with light, a master cabin that feels like a boutique hotel suite with sea views on both sides, and a layout designed so that 9 guests never feel like they're in each other's way. The materials are new-generation Italian: matte textures, light wood, tactile fabrics. Nothing about this boat looks like it was designed to impress in a brochure and disappoint in person.
At cruising speed of 42 knots, Saint-Tropez from Monaco is just over an hour. Corsica is reachable in a single morning passage. Portofino, Antibes, Sardinia, the entire western Mediterranean opens up in a way that simply isn't possible on a conventional displacement yacht.
On board: 4 cabins, crew of 3, and a water toy lineup that includes Seabob, E-Foil, and a jet ski. The E-Foil alone justifies a stop, flying above the water on an electric hydrofoil board off the coast of Cap Ferrat is an experience that doesn't exist on 99% of charter yachts in this region.
The marina berth near Monaco is included in the charter price. That means you start and end in the most concentrated stretch of superyacht culture in the world, with everything the Riviera offers within reach at speeds that make distance irrelevant.
