OOO “Sovrudnik” employees gave positive feedback on Eurotire tires.

In early May the gold producer "Sovrudnik" fitted the first batch of Eurotire tires (12 pieces) onto Caterpillar dump trucks. This event has become quite important for large dump truck drivers. As a result they took the initiative and painted the logos on the tires in white color, thus showing their respect and care to the Euriotire tires and the brand itself.

The company "Sovrudnik" has been operating in Severo-Yeniseiskiy (North Yenisey) district of Krasnoyarsk region for more than 100 years. During this time the company came its way from a small work association to one of the largest gold producers in the country.

Today OOO "Sovrudnik" is a fast-growing company specializing in the gold ore production in the open pit mines, gold ore processing at the factory the final product of which is gold bars. The company is among the top ten gold mining companies in the country and ranks second in terms of gold production in Krasnoyarsk region.

At the moment, the company operates 13 Caterpillar 773E dump trucks of the 55 tonnes load capacity. Eurotire tires will be used on these trucks in 'Alexandro- Ageevskiy" open pit mine: 6 radial and 6 bias tires.

For any driver improvement of the equipment operated by him is a significant event, and new tires are also an opportunity to improve his performance. Especially if a manufacturer and supplier of the tires is a company with a worldwide reputation and indisputable quality of its product.

That is why the employees of OOO "Sovrudnik" accepted, in a friendly and warm manner, the fitting of the new tires manufactured by Eurotire - one of the world leaders in the manufacturing and maintenance of Super Giant tires. And they decided to show their care and respect towards the company and its products by painting logo on Eurotire tires in white.

According to the head of the OOO "Sovrudnik" Truck Department Tomash Veniamin Ivanovich, the installation of tires supervised by the specialists of Eurotire left the most positive impression.
"Experts of Eurotire consulted on any questions, gave detailed recommendations on the correct way to use tires and how to increase the tire life, measured tire pressure and also brought a professional tire lubricant, containing no petroleum products, caps and valves," - said Veniamin Tomash.

In its turn Eurotire is ready to keep meeting the expectations of its customers, provide unique service support and technical innovations aimed at reducing the costs of production processes and improving their security.

From our office in Balikpapan, INDONESIA. We were proud to be involved in furthering the education of over forty Engineering and Fitter Technical College graduates. Our Regional Business Manager, Steve Bailey was on hand to instruct the students in an overview of OTR tire maintenance best practices, including; tire fitment, proper handling, pressure maintenance, appropriate storage, road design and maintenance and correct loading procedures.

“Proper tire maintenance, including regular monitoring and routine inspections is critical for extending the life of an OTR tire” states Steve, “Using the maintenance guidelines we set forth will insure a mine will receive the best performance from their tire investment. It was a privilege to have been included in this training and to have had the opportunity to further educate these trainees in tire maintenance."

The goal for the Leemaster’s seminar was to provide a general technical overview of tire care and maintenance, correct tooling and OTR Tire safety procedures for both Bias Ply and Radial tires.

Eurotire partnered with Leemasters in October in an effort to create a more seamless, national sales and support experience for our customers. The new network will assist us in promoting the sales and services of Eurotire OTR tire products to mining companies throughout Philippines.

Kemerovo Area Mining Customers Claim Seminar Award with Ukraine OTR Tire Factory Tour!

Last week, Eurotire OTR Bias manufacturing facility in Ukraine hosted a special factory tour for the winners of the recent Kuzbass Regional Eurocare Seminar. The seminar took place in Kemerovo in October.

The Grand Prize of the factory tour was awarded to Anzhelika Kozina, of Russia’s RazresUgol Coal mine, for being the “Most Active Participant” in the October event. Ms. Kozina was accompanied by Mr. Chesnokov, a Novokuznetsk representative, who also attended the Eurocare seminar. Both visitors made the most of their visit by completing an additional tire construction and production training class at Eurotire’s Ukraine OTR Bias facility. A city tour of Dnepropetrovsk was also included.

Eurotire’s Eurocare Customer Seminar proved highly successful. Additional seminars are being planned worldwide.

Tim and Jim Burnette have established an official Technical Service Department that operates at 4000 Meters above sea Level at Kumtor Gold Mine in Krygystan! Here is the story!

Eurotire is proud to announce our extended partnership with Kumtor Gold mine, Bishkek, located in the Tian Shan mountainous region of Krygyzstan. We have established a Technical Services Department onsite and remains committed to providing 24/7 OTR bias ply and radial tire maintenance and support for the gold mine’s fleet of equipment.

As a result of the recently signed contract with Kumtor, Eurotire technicians will be on hand to assist with reducing tire related operating cost by improving tire and rim maintenance practices while applying Eurocare safety techniques in everyday practices. Tim Papini, Technical Services Manager and Jim Burnett, Technical Project Manager will remain on site to serve on a rotating basis.

Gold producer Kumtor operates in an extremely challenging environment at over 4000 meters above sea level, the second highest gold mining operation in the world. Partnering for even greater success, this agreement demonstrates our global positioning statement of “Wherever you mine, we are there with service and support for our tires.” Our Eurocare approach demonstrates we don’t just supply OTR tires; we care for our customers as well as their mining operations and we are here to assist them in achieving their goals.

The agreement was reached after completing multiple in-depth, full-tire audits. Consequently, Eurotire was able to provide Kumtor with a detailed recommendation that insures fully optimized tire performance and therefore, reduce the amount of time the machines might otherwise stand idle. The on-site audit also served to help clarify the customer’s Key Performance Indicators.

Using the Eurotire maintenance program guidelines set forth will insure the mine will receive the best OTR tire performance from their tire investment. To date, some of the Eurotire 40.00-57 tires have already achieved over 7000 hours of operation.

Eurotire Initiates Customer Pressure Days Program in Kuzbass Region

The ZAO Stroyservis Coal Mine in Kemerovo, Russia was the perfect venue for Eurotire OTR Tires to initiate the new Eurocare “Pressure Days” Program. Eurotire demonstrated support for their Stroyservis customer by dedicating technical expertise and providing complimentary inspections, tools and hardware replacements for their Bias Ply and Radial OTR Tires.

Eurotire technicians replaced faulty valve cores and defective caps in many fleet vehicles. They also distributed new gauges to the minesite operators.

“Customers were extremely pleased with this event, and drivers were amazed at the number of pressure inaccuracies which were addressed that day” says Jim Burnett and Tim Papini, Eurotire Technical Managers. “Proper tire monitoring and maintenance is essential to extending OTR tire life and Eurotire remains committed to educating their customers on best practices. October’s “Pressure Days” was just the first of many similar events in line to be introduced over the coming year.”

“Pressure Days” is an extension of the Eurocare program. Eurotire developed the Eurocare program to provide valued customers such as Stoyservis with the safe and dependable tires they demand. The unique program also tracks the entire life cycle of a tire, following it from the moment it leaves the factory to ensure that it is maintained, serviced and utilized to its full potential. With Eurocare, mine operators around the world have a dedicated partner in building a more profitable and safer mining operation.

Eurotire OTR Tire Facility was recently awarded ISO/OHSAS re-certifications.

ISO International Standards sets out the requirements of a quality management system. It ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. These standards assist in reducing cost by minimizing waste and increasing productivity.

OHSAS 18001 certifies and implements an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). The certification demonstrates a clear commitment on the part of Eurotire to the safety of their workers. These certifications enable Eurotire to have knowledge and control over all relevant hazards resulting from normal operations and unusual situations. This certification assists Eurotire in managing best health and safety risks, continually improve worker protection, and create a corporate culture that values worker safety as much as production and profit.

Interesting. Gold is edible. Some Asian countries put gold in fruit, jelly snacks, coffee, and tea. Since at least the 1500s, Europeans have been putting gold leaf in bottles of liquor, such as Danziger Goldwasser and Goldschlager.
