Tivemos o privilégio de receber estes magníficos bancos traseiros, provenientes de um Corsa A 1.3 GT!
Esta unidade foi um verdadeiro “barn find” — segundo o que nos foi contado pelo cliente, o carro esteve guardado durante cerca de 20 anos.
Ao longo dessas duas décadas, o veículo foi alvo de uma grande negligência, tendo sido invadido por uma infestação de ratos, o que resultou na quase total destruição da espuma dos bancos! 😆
O cliente queria manter o tecido original e, para além dos estragos causados pelos roedores, ainda tínhamos de lidar com queimaduras de cigarro — o que tornou esta missão ainda mais desafiante.
Contudo, com a ajuda do padrão em xadrez, tínhamos a faca e o queijo na mão!
Não foi uma tarefa fácil... mas é para isto que vivemos!
E sejamos sinceros: se fosse fácil, não era para nós.

We had the privilege of receiving these magnificent rear seats, originally from a Corsa A 1.3 GT!
This particular unit was a true barn find — the customer told us it had been stored away for around 20 years.
Over those two decades, the car was severely neglected and ended up infested by rats, which meant there wasn’t much foam left to work with! 😆
The client wanted to preserve the original fabric and, besides the foam issue, we also had to deal with cigarette burns — which made the task even more challenging.
Thankfully, with the help of the plaid pattern, we had everything we needed to get the job done!
It wasn’t an easy task... but this is what we live for!
And let’s be honest: if it were easy, it wouldn’t be for us.
