But this slip means Fortuna is road ready. Cleared, checked, set for the season ahead.

And while waiting, the road did what it always does. It brought the right person along. Someone who runs boat trips around the island.

Two years ago, our founder Tanja left Germany behind. Moved to Madeira with her two kids and a self-built van. Not because she had to — but because her heart told her: this is the way.
