Do you think I forgot the Trial des Nations in Spain?
Better latter then ever, here is the short resume about this adventure!
It was on last September that we had the Olympics of trials, the Trial Des Nations where only the 3 best riders of each country compete as a team.
Portugal was represented by myself, and on the international category.
As you know, I went to this race with a knee problem and with a lot of suffering, but I could manage to do it till middle of the race. I had a crash without bike (!) that caused my patella to get out of place and the pain was on again!
But let’s focus on the good things!
Portugal was able to put 2 teams (also and were there racing) and the amazing thing is that we were all acting like a real team, solving problems and maintaining the union spirit that characterizes the Portuguese people that sailed across the world..
We finished on the 14th position, very close to the 13th! Thanks to my team mates and 💪🙏
This was my 19th TDN and I will continue to push myself until I die. I was born for this sh$it so the more difficulties I face, the more motivation i get to overcome the problems. I never enjoyed and liked easy things…I prefer those things that everyone says it’s impossible to do or that no one ever did. My almost 42 years of life follow this rule…
