The last day arrived... but we still had so much to show our fantastic group! 🌟
We left Alcobaça heading to Ericeira, an authentic fishing village and world surf capital, with stunning views over the Atlantic. We then rode the mythical roads of the Sintra Mountains all the way to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, a place of mandatory pilgrimage for every motorcyclist! 🌊

The perfect bends of Cabo da Roca then led us to the glamorous beaches of Cascais and Estoril, passing through the magnificent Guincho beach, always with the Atlantic by our side.
The return to Lisbon hugged the banks of the Tagus river, with a final stop at the iconic Padrão dos Descobrimentos and the magnificent Torre de Belém, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for one last look at this unforgettable journey.

9 days. 1,500 km. 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Memories for a lifetime. Thank you to this incredible group, from 🇺🇸 USA, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇿🇦 South Africa and 🇲🇽 Mexic0, for making this adventure even more special! 🙌

O último dia chegou... mas ainda tínhamos muito para mostrar ao nosso fantástico grupo! 🌟

Partimos de Alcobaça em direção à Ericeira, uma autêntica vila de pescadores e capital mundial do surf, com vistas fantásticas para o Atlântico. Seguimos pelas estradas míticas da Serra de Sintra até ao Cabo da Roca, o ponto mais ocidental da Europa continental, um lugar de peregrinação obrigatória para qualquer motociclista! 🌊

De seguida, as curvas perfeitas do Cabo da Roca levaram-nos até às praias glamourosas de Cascais e Estoril, passando pela magníf**a praia do Guincho, sempre com o Atlântico a fazer-nos companhia.
O regresso a Lisboa foi pela margem do Rio Tejo, com paragem no icónico Padrão dos Descobrimentos e na magníf**a Torre de Belém, Património Mundial da UNESCO, para um último olhar sobre esta viagem inesquecível.

A truly epic day through Portugal's history!
We started in Tomar, at the magnificent Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece built by the Knights Templar in the 12th century. A place that leaves everyone in awe! 🏰

Next came the imposing Batalha Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, a Gothic masterpiece built by King João I in gratitude for victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota in 1385, which secured Portugal's independence.

The night was simply extraordinary, we stayed inside the Alcobaça Monastery, one of Portugal's most beautiful and historic hotels, designed by Pritzker Prize architect Souto Moura. A truly unique experience! ✨

Um dia verdadeiramente épico pela história de Portugal!
Começámos em Tomar, no magnífico Convento de Cristo, uma obra-prima Património Mundial da UNESCO construída pelos Cavaleiros Templários no séc. XII. Um lugar que impressiona qualquer um! 🏰

Seguimos para o imponente Mosteiro da Batalha, outro Património Mundial da UNESCO, um monumento gótico construído pelo Rei D. João I em agradecimento pela vitória na Batalha de Aljubarrota em 1385, que garantiu a independência de Portugal.

A noite foi simplesmente extraordinária, dormimos dentro do Mosteiro de Alcobaça, um dos mais belos e históricos hotéis de Portugal, projetado pelo arquitecto Pritzker Souto Moura. Uma experiência única! ✨

We began our journey south with a day absolutely packed with surprises!

First stop: Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice! We crossed the São Jacinto bay by ferry and explored the city's famous canals aboard a traditional Moliceiro boat. And of course — we couldn't leave without tasting the famous Ovos Moles sweet treats! 🛶

We then rode through the Serra do Luso and past the magnificent Aguieira Dam, where the Mondego river guided us all the way to historic Coimbra — the former capital of Portugal and home to one of Europe's oldest universities, founded in 1290 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We wandered through the famous Paço das Escolas surrounded by students dressed in their traditional black academic gowns. And the evening? Spent at the legendary Quinta das Lágrimas — a charming hotel with a love story dating back to the 14th century. Simply magical! 🌹

Iniciámos o regresso a sul com um dia absolutamente repleto de surpresas!

Primeira paragem: Aveiro, a Veneza portuguesa! Atravessámos a baía de São Jacinto de ferry e explorámos os famosos canais da cidade a bordo de um tradicional barco Moliceiro. E claro, não saímos sem provar os famosos Ovos Moles! 🛶

Seguimos pelas estradas da Serra do Luso e pela magníf**a Barragem da Aguieira, onde o Rio Mondego nos acompanhou até à histórica Coimbra, antiga capital de Portugal e lar de uma das mais antigas universidades da Europa, fundada em 1290 e Património Mundial da UNESCO.

Percorremos o famoso Paço das Escolas rodeados de estudantes vestidos a rigor com o tradicional traje académico negro. E a noite? Passou-se na lendária Quinta das Lágrimas, um hotel de charme com uma história de amor que remonta ao século XIV. Simplesmente mágico! 🌹

Hoje o grupo teve um dia livre para descobrir o Porto ao seu ritmo, e que cidade para explorar! Património Mundial da UNESCO, o Porto é uma das mais fascinantes e autênticas cidades da Europa. 🏛️

Desde a icónica Estação de São Bento com os seus famosos azulejos, à Torre dos Clérigos com as suas vistas panorâmicas, passando pela histórica Praça da Ribeira e a famosa Livraria Lello, uma das mais belas do mundo, cada esquina conta uma história!

O ponto alto do dia foi uma visita guiada às Caves Porto Ferreira em Vila Nova de Gaia, onde descobrimos os segredos do Vinho do Porto, com prova incluída, claro! 🍷

Uma cidade que f**a no coração de quem a visita. O Porto não se esquece!

Today the group had a free day to discover Porto at their own pace, and what a city to explore! A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Porto is one of Europe's most fascinating and authentic cities. 🏛️

From the iconic São Bento Railway Station with its stunning azulejo tilework, to the Torre dos Clérigos with its panoramic views, the historic Praça da Ribeira and the world-famous Livraria Lello bookshop, every corner tells a story!

The highlight of the day was a guided tour of the Porto Ferreira Wine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, where we uncovered the secrets of Port Wine, with a tasting included, of course! 🍷

A city that stays with you long after you leave. Porto is simply unforgettable!

Saímos do coração do Douro e seguimos a famosa Rota do Vinho do Porto pela estrada mais épica do mundo, a N222, eleita a melhor estrada do mundo para conduzir em moto, com 27km e 93 curvas a abraçar o rio Douro e os seus vinhedos! 🍷

Paragem obrigatória em Guimarães, a cidade berço de Portugal, Património Mundial da UNESCO, onde o imponente Castelo e o Paço dos Duques de Bragança nos contaram quase mil anos de história.

De seguida, o magnífico Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte em Braga, outro Património Mundial da UNESCO, com a sua escadaria monumental de 116 metros e o elevador funicular mais antigo do mundo!

O dia terminou numa das cidades mais bonitas da Europa, o Porto, Património Mundial da UNESCO, mesmo a tempo de apanhar o pôr do sol sobre o Rio Douro! 🌅

We left the heart of the Douro and followed the famous Port Wine Route along the most epic road in the world, the N222,voted the best motorcycle road on the planet, with 27km and 93 bends hugging the Douro river and its vineyards! 🍷

A mandatory stop in Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage city, where the imposing Castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança told us nearly a thousand years of history.

Next, the magnificent Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary in Braga, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its monumental 116-metre staircase and the world's oldest funicular elevator!

Começámos com a subida à Torre da Serra da Estrela, o ponto mais alto de Portugal Continental, a 1.993 metros de altitude, onde não resistimos a provar o famoso Queijo da Serra! 🧀⛰️

Seguimos pelo deslumbrante Vale Glaciar do Zézere, um dos maiores vales glaciares da Europa, com paisagens de cortar a respiração. Paragem no Castelo de Belmonte, onde nasceu Pedro Álvares Cabral,o navegador que descobriu o Brasil, e depois pela fascinante fortaleza em estrela de 12 pontas de Almeida.

O dia terminou de forma épica na região do Douro Internacional, Património Mundial da UNESCO, com um jantar inesquecível no coração dos vinhedos mais antigos do mundo! 🍷

We started with a climb to the Torre da Serra da Estrela — the highest point in mainland Portugal at 1,993 metres, where we couldn't resist tasting the famous Serra cheese! 🧀⛰️

We then rode through the breathtaking Zêzere Glacial Valley, one of the largest glacial valleys in Europe. Stops at Belmonte Castle, birthplace of Pedro Álvares Cabral, the navigator who discovered Brazil, and the extraordinary star-shaped fortress of Almeida.

The day ended in epic fashion in the Douro Internacional region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with an unforgettable dinner in the heart of some of the world's oldest vineyards! 🍷

Que jornada incrível! Saímos de Évora e a primeira paragem foi o imponente Castelo de Estremoz, uma fortaleza medieval que domina toda a planície alentejana, história pura! 🏰

Seguimos para Marvão, uma das aldeias mais deslumbrantes de Portugal, encravada no topo da serra, onde almoçámos com vistas de cortar a respiração para a fronteira com Espanha. De seguida, um momento verdadeiramente especial: atravessámos o Tejo nas dramáticas Portas de Ródão, uma das passagens mais selvagens e belas do país. 🌊

O dia terminou no topo do mundo, a Pousada da Serra da Estrela, o icónico antigo sanatório reconvertido num hotel de charme único, a mais de 1.500 metros de altitude. Uma noite inesquecível! ⛰️

What an incredible journey! We left Évora and made our first stop at the imposing Estremoz Castle, a medieval fortress commanding the entire Alentejo plain, pure history! 🏰

Next came Marvão, one of Portugal's most breathtaking villages, perched on top of a rocky ridge, where we had lunch with sweeping views all the way to the Spanish border. Then a truly special moment: crossing the Tagus river at the dramatic Portas de Ródão, one of the most wild and beautiful passages in the country. 🌊

The day ended at the top of the world, the Pousada Serra da Estrela, the iconic former sanatorium converted into a unique boutique hotel, at over 1,500 metres above sea level. An unforgettable night! ⛰️

Saímos de Lisboa e a primeira paragem foi a deslumbrante Serra da Arrábida, uma das costas mais bonitas da Europa, com águas cristalinas e uma natureza selvagem que deixou toda a gente de encantada! 🌊

De seguida, uma experiência diferente: atravessámos o estuário do Sado de ferry boat rumo a Tróia, com as motos a bordo e o Atlântico à vista. Almoço em Alcácer do Sal, uma das vilas mais antigas de Portugal, antes de chegarmos a Évora, cidade Património Mundial da UNESCO, onde a visita à misteriosa Capela dos Ossos fechou o dia de forma inesquecível. 💀
Portugal tem mesmo tudo! 🇵🇹

What an epic day! We left Lisbon and headed straight to the stunning Serra da Arrábida, one of Europe's most beautiful coastlines, with crystal-clear waters and wild natural beauty that left everyone speechless! 🌊

Next came something a little different: we crossed the Sado estuary by ferry boat with the bikes on board and the Atlantic stretching out before us. Lunch in Alcácer do Sal, one of Portugal's oldest towns, before rolling into Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where a visit to the haunting Chapel of Bones brought the day to an unforgettable close. 💀
Portugal truly has it all! 🇵🇹
