Gen 1 ZX-10R + drag slick = 💚💚

2005 ZX-10R from a customer in Puerto Rico. Street, roll racing and the drag strip, and it broke a stock aluminium retainer twice along the way. 🏁

Now it gets ABUSO titanium retainers. Our retainers stay alive while keeping the valves under control at high rpm and leave room for a more aggressive cam when the build goes further. These are compatible with all other stock parts ⚙️

Titanium Retainers + CBR Fireblade = ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

4,2g each. The originals they replace are 7,5g. 🔧

Set of 16 in Grade 5 titanium for the CBR900RR SC28 and SC33, the CBR929RR SC44 and the CBR954RR SC50. The same retainer fits the CB900F Hornet, the VFR750 and VFR800, the ST1100 and the GL1800 (of all things🤣🤣). ⚙️

The profile is shorter than stock, so there is room for more valve lift before the retainer reaches the oil seal. These are compatible with all other stock parts. 🏁

Ryan Whitehall, 9th in the 2026 Senior Classic TT - probably the greatest classic bike race on the planet. 🏁 🔧

Next season the team's Yamaha 750 runs ABUSO valve springs: 12 intake and 8 exhaust, for five valves per cylinder. These are a great upgrade and compatible with all other stock parts while offering higher spring force and maximum lift 💯⚙️

Valves for the BIG NINJA 🥷🥷

Stock or +1mm oversize, intake and exhaust, for the ZZR1400 and ZX-14R from 2006 to 2024 (gen1 and gen2). 🔧

Intake is 33,4mm stock or 34,4mm oversize. Exhaust is 28,3mm stock or 29,3mm oversize. Eight valves a set in EV8/21-4N stainless, black nitride stems and hard tips. These things can handle all the abuse you can throw at them ⚙️

The oversize sets are cut to run on the original seat, so the head needs only the usual seat machining. 🏁

Second appearance for the 1996 ZX-7R race bike from South Africa. 🏁 👀

Every one of its 16 titanium retainers weighs 5,0g, against 9,0g for the steel originals. ABUSO valves and a dual spring kit complete the top end. ⚙️

At 13.000 rpm a valve spring is compressed almost solid 108 times a second. 🔧

So they go on the tester: installed height, seat pressure, open pressure at full lift, and the coil bind clearance that keeps the spring from ever going solid. ⚙️

Oval wire available — more force at lower stress and reduced solid height, so there is room for more lift.
All made with Super clean oil-tempered chrome silicon vanadium steel from Japan, multistage heat treated, shot peened and progressive wound. 🏁

Basically top of the line materials and design that shows in both performance and durability
