Unique sailing vacations aboard a unique schooner

We had a great run down the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), and successfully hauled out at BOCK MARINE in Beaufort, NC.

ICW highlights included crabbing, epic sunsets at remote anchorages, and a rainy and fun weekend in Oriental, where we visited our friends Inner Banks Canvas and picked up new interior cushions (photos coming soon 😍)

Thanks again to our awesome crew members Bob and Steve, who joined us for the trip from NY to NC, and definitely elevated the level of enjoyment and laughter onboard.

Now we are doing a deep dive into yard work. Yippee! Check our stories for the sweet projects we've got going on. We anticipate being hauled out for about 6 weeks before we continue south to the Caribbean 🌴

We had a great run through the city and down the coast.
HUGE shout out to our friends Michele Bisaccia and Ron who hosted us for a feast of good food and company in Atlantic Highlands before we continued our journey south. They are also responsible for the first awesome shot in this series!

After a 48 hour run -- sailing down the Jersey/Delaware/Virginia coast, motoring into the Chesapeake and up the Elizabeth River -- Bonnie Lynn and crew are now enjoying a night docked at Great Bridge, VA, before continuing on the ICW toward Beaufort.

It feels good to be heading south!

Well, more like west today. We departed Greenport after sunrise and enjoyed a downwind sail up Long Island Sound for the morning, then motored for the afternoon as the wind died off.

Tonight we are anchored in Oyster Bay, staged for an early departure to catch a fair ride through NYC tomorrow.

Here's a quick shout out to all of the amazing guests we've had aboard so far this summer!!! As we roll into the end of August we've been reflecting upon the hundreds of kind and enthusiastic guests we've hosted on Bonnie Lynn so far this summer. We love sharing what we do, and we couldn't keep our little ship in tip top shape without you. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Public Schooner Sails start on May 30!
