Yesterday I tried a dry ice method to clean the front, rear suspension and gearbox. I supposed that it was the first time since 1962 when all these parts were so clean as in the factory. I also decided to use dry ice to remove all anti-corrosion coating underneath the chassis. It wasn’t so easy to do this, but it was worth it. Now I can make all inspections of what I should repair without sandblasting or soda blasting. It was vital for me to keep all these rubber and sensitive parts without any damage. Dry ice is safe for old details, chassis, and especially for floor panels. 🤓
