I’ve just finished fitting the electric differential lock, which will undergo rigorous testing at the next rally. Having completed the installation, I’d rate the product’s quality as excellent. It’s definitely a higher standard than the Russian Torsen locks. Incidentally, I’ve changed the differential ratios to 4.1 to reduce engine revs during rallies, or, looking at it another way, to be able to reach higher speeds.

Moja pierwsza Grand Vitara 2 w roku 2008. Tak wyglądała po spotkaniu z Łosiem. Kierowcy - czyli mi - nic się nie stało.

Na filmie pokazałem jak wygląda minimalistyczna osłona tylnego dyfra, która daje zarówno ochronę jak i jest praktyczna przy wymianie dyfra. Do tego, ciekawostką są 11 mm dystanse, mające na celu poprawę kąta pracy tylnego wału napędowego, który był niekorzystny po zastosowaniu bodylift 25 mm.

Engine bracket was too delicate for cross-country riding. We'll see if the reinforced version holds up. I haven't been able to find another one to buy anywhere in the world.
