Last weekend, the exciting Specialties "King of the Baggers" race was held in Laguna Seca.
Twelve enormous v-twins participated in the race: ten Harleys and two Indians. The Indians finished first and third, and Tyler O'Hara picked up the trophy at the S&S Challenger.

Many people, especially now, are trying to rebuild or repair their motor, but not to strain the already limited budget.
This little Honda CG110 is a great example of this. It was built by Nasir Morni from eastern Malaysia.
The 1977 mini chopper, just its frame and broken engine, arrived at Nasir two years ago. Access to other parts turned out to be a problem as Nasir lives on the island of Borneo in Kunching and the only way to deliver anything is by air, which of course is expensive.
So Nasir said he would build his new mini chopper from scrap parts, and as he is a busy skater, he made some interesting modifications.

Sean Pelletier (Motoworks) challenged himself: How fast can you build a very custom motorcycle of very high quality? How to minimize the amount of lost time and work?
Construction took about six months, 20 hours a week, and the new GT380 was built.

That's probably average for a typical standard vehicle, but this one has a custom frame, engine and body modifications, so that's a rather good figure, I guess.

"Hopefully in the next build we'll make fewer mistakes and improve the process even more."

We like such challenges!

Every avid motorcyclist probably feels regret and sadness when a bike that was built for competitive riding is relegated to only an exhibit in a museum.
If you do too, you will probably consider Jochen Hecht a hero. This is because he recently bought the original Husqvarna 400 Cross from the museum to ride it.
Jochen dreamed of owning a Husky Cross from the moment he saw Steve McQueen in one of the iconic documentaries "On Any Sunday". So when he found out that a 1971 model was for sale, Jochen didn't think long. There won't be another such chance.
The bike was bought from the "Boxenstop Auto" museum in Tübingen, Germany, where the Husky Cross has been exhibited for ten years. It was for sale together with the BSA B50 MX. Jochen has bought both bikes, kick life in to them and is currently fielding BSA in selected European flat circuit races, as well as planning to race Husky in classic MX races.

A few days ago the hard enduro race "Sea to Sky 2020" took place in Turkey. Veteran of this race, Graham Jarvi has once again proved that he should be taken seriously.
“Great race. Honestly, I was lucky, especially considering the damage to the bike right after takeoff - I lost four minutes. I thought I had no chance today. Billy (the runner-up) took the wrong turn and I was able to pass him with only 20 minutes left. This is Jarvis's sixth win in "Sea to Sky".

Yesterday, BMW M and BMW Motorrad showed the result of their first collaboration the sporty BMW M 1000 RR.
The engine is based on racing motorcycle engines - liquid-cooled, forged pistons and lightweight titanium connecting rods, spin at speeds of up to 15,100rpm and generate 212hp. (113 Nm). This engine allows you to accelerate to the first hundred in 3.1 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 306 km/h.
As for the cost of the new motorcycle, it still remains unknown. On the market from March 2021.

Are you still catching up which part of "Mission Impossible" with Tom Cruise will be coming soon in cinema theatres? We are not ;).
Recently, YouTube ran a video of the set, where Tom sped up the ramp at the top of the mountain and jumped into the abyss. Then the parachute opens, lands safely .. so typical "Mission Impossible".
But we wonder why wearing helmets is unwelcome in Hollywood movies?

We definitely recommend wearing helmets all the time!

Yesterday in Nowy Sącz (Poland) was a big convention of vintage vehicles.
Two-wheelers were also proudly represented: from the Zündapp KS 750W from World War II, to the French Dresches or JAWA, BMW, Harley-Davidson to others.
