Formula Student Development Team - NUST A team of enthusiastic Formula Students from various departments of NUST, having interdisciplinary skills and working towards same goal!

Formula Student Development Team is one of the leading initiatives at NUST. Based on the guidelines provided by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), FSDT-NUST has launched Project Alif, which entails the Design & Manufacture of a Formula Student Racing Vehicle. Project Alif works on a highly efficient and effective management model which ensures optimum productivity. We look forward to bring

ing R&D back to the universities through this initiative. Our vision is:
'To merge our engineering knowledge with managerial & administrative expertise, to explore the aforementioned areas further through practical application by designing & manufacturing a product worthy to carry the name of NUST at Formula Student International Events & to serve as a benchmark for the future engineering minds'

Zain inherited the charge of Team Alif from the graduating batch of '22. Building the team from scratch, with the great uncertainty of its future and more so regarding the motivation to undertake such a huge task, Zain has been with Alif for the longest. His dedication has tested him through all the portfolios in Team Alif. Hats off to Zain for his dedication and for the realisation of the mission, he and the Team devoted themselves to: to make Team Alif a platform for engineering students to learn from and get a feel for how engineering science translates to practice and does the wonders we are so familiar with.

Umar Zahid Bhatti is just what a Technical Director ought to be: sufficiently enthusiastic about F1 racing, and armed with all the technical know-how to command this skill. He initially won his way to Alif, through a competition. With his useful insights, he made his presence known. Meet our incredible brand manager, Zeeshan Haider. Team Alif has been around for a year and it was surely a daunting task to take up the mantle of Brand Manager. Armed with only the dimmest glimmers of hope, did the team set forward to get sponsors and most crucially funding for realising the goal of building an EV for FSUK'23.
