🚗🔧 Another 5VZ-FE brought back to life at CARFest!

This clean Toyota Hilux Surf came in with:
❌ Rough idle
❌ RPM fluctuations
❌ P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)

Diagnostics showed fuel trims reaching nearly +20%, indicating a significant lean condition. After a thorough inspection, we traced the issue to multiple vacuum leaks, including a leaking hose near the firewall and another leak around the throttle body area.

✅ Vacuum leaks repaired
✅ New spark plugs installed
✅ Fuel filter replaced
✅ Intake and throttle body serviced
✅ Fuel trims restored to near 0%

Final readings after road testing:
📊 STFT: Within ±5%
📊 LTFT: ~0%
📊 Smooth idle restored
📊 No RPM drop
📊 Engine back in closed-loop operation

Proper diagnosis always beats parts swapping.

Need your 4x4, SUV, or daily driver diagnosed the right way? Visit CARFest Islamabad.
