Bertha Benz, the world’s first driver and roadside mechanic.

In 1888, she took her husband’s invention, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, and drove it over 100 kilometers. Along the way, she encountered technical difficulties and proved to be very resourceful, including using a hat pin to fix a clogged fuel line and a garter to repair a broken ignition.

Hi!
My name is Sadia and I'm working in a prestigious government organization as an auditor. I'm also using Radio as a platform to raise my voice on behalf of women/ girls out there.
I myself being mother of 2 kids always needed a support and scaffolding each time I needed to do something or go somewhere until one day my father motivated me to start driving and be independent and go wherever I want to without waiting for someone from family to drop me there.
Since I started driving I realized that I had missed so many opportunities in life just because of relying on others for conveyance and now I can have access to more opportunities after learning this skill.
My goal is to motivate women and girls of Hayderabd to learn driving and empower them to contribute further within our society. Learning to drive will reduce pressure on our husbands/ brothers, men and provide oppurtunities to girls/females to claim more spaces in our society.
