Pakistan's imports of completely built-up (CBU) buses, trucks, and other heavy vehicles climbed to an all-time high of $262.4 million, up 354 percent year-on-year in 11 months of FY2025-26 (11MFY26), according to the latest State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) figures.

This figure is the highest import value on record, comfortably surpassing the previous peak of $177.1 million recorded in 11MFY22. Imports were just $57.8 million during the same period last year.

Topline Securities attributes the surge to strong demand from Pakistan's transport and logistics sector as businesses expand fleet capacity to support rising economic activity.

The federal government has decided to significantly reduce import duties as part of a new five-year tariff reform plan aimed at boosting economic activity, enhancing competitiveness, and lowering the cost of doing business in Pakistan.

According to official sources, the proposed National Tariff Policy 2025-30 outlines a phased reduction in customs duties, regulatory duties, and additional customs duties over the next five years. The policy seeks to streamline Pakistan’s tariff structure and align it more closely with international trade standards.

📌 وی-ٹیک (VTEC) سنسر کی خرابی کے اثرات اور گاڑی پر اس کے نقصانات! 🚗💨
کیا آپ کی گاڑی کا پک اپ اچانک کم ہو گیا ہے یا انجن میں جھٹکے محسوس ہو رہے ہیں؟ اس کی ایک بڑی وجہ VTEC (Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control) سنسر یا سولینائیڈ کی خرابی ہو سکتی ہے۔
وی-ٹیک سسٹم انجن کی والو ٹائمنگ اور لفٹ کو کنٹرول کرتا ہے، تاکہ گاڑی کو بہترین پرفارمنس اور زبردست فیول ایوریج مل سکے۔ لیکن اگر اس سسٹم میں کوئی خرابی آ جائے، تو آپ کو یہ 6 بڑے مسائل دیکھنا پڑ سکتے ہیں:

انجن فلٹ سگنل ملنے کی وجہ سے فیول اور ایئر کا مکسچر صحیح نہیں بنتا، جس سے انجن ضرورت سے زیادہ ایندھن (پٹرول) کا استعمال کرنے لگتا ہے۔
3️⃣ انجن کی کارکردگی میں کمی:
سنسر کی خرابی کے بعد انجن اپنی پوری طاقت (Power) پیدا نہیں کر پاتا، جس کی وجہ سے گاڑی کا پک اپ اور رفتار بہت کمزور ہو جاتی ہے۔
4️⃣ انجن کا آر پی ایم (RPM) محدود ہونا:
انجن سیفٹی موڈ (Limp Mode) میں چلا جاتا ہے، جس کی وجہ سے RPM ایک خاص حد سے اوپر نہیں جاتا اور گاڑی تیز نہیں دوڑ پاتی۔
5️⃣ آئل لیکج کا خطرہ:
سنسر کی سیل یا گیسکٹ (Gasket) خراب ہونے سے انجن آئل لیک ہو سکتا ہے، جو انجن کی لائف کے لیے نقصان دہ ہے۔
6️⃣ انجن کا جھٹکا لینا:
گیئر شفٹ کرتے وقت یا اچانک ریس (ایکسلیٹر) دیتے وقت گاڑی کا انجن برے طریقے سے جھٹکے لے سکتا ہے۔
