FLOOD-AFFECTED CAR? HAVE IT CHECKED.
If your car was affected by the recent flooding, we strongly recommend having it professionally cleaned and inspected as soon as possible.
Why?
1. Mold
Moisture trapped inside the car can quickly lead to mold buildup, especially under carpets and seats. Mold can also become a health concern when its spores are continuously inhaled.
2. Rust
Moisture + metal = rust. Hidden moisture can cause corrosion in areas you cannot see. Fixing rust later can be much more expensive than addressing the moisture now.
3. Bad odor
Floodwater can leave bacteria, mold, and other contaminants inside the vehicle. Air fresheners only mask the smell. Proper cleaning and sanitation are needed to remove the source.
4. Hidden moisture
Even when the interior feels dry, moisture can remain trapped underneath carpets, seats, and insulation.
