Late yesterday afternoon there was a 5 minute eruption that affected areas on volcano island.
Alert level 1, (low level of unrest not affecting the lake or the surrounding land) remains hoisted and OZ Goose Racing on Sunday is on track. Likely a nice light Amihan. Expect racing to start on time.

We have been getting a lot of rain lately here at below tagaytay ridge. I haven't seen this much rain since I invested in this area in 1995. Rain can cause a lot of problems but can also be incredibly if you are willing to endure a few cuts and bruises. . Watch till the end.

Women's helm likely postponed.

We are expecting not one, but 2 storms to affect us greatly over the next 10 days.

We expect normal to strong Habagat from now into Thursday, Aug 27, and normal rainy season rainfall until then.

By the late afternoon of Thursday however, expect the beginning of more rainfall that will last into the middle of next week. We expect the Habagat will increase to levels dangerous to sea craft by Thursday or Friday. We are already in the process of pulling all our boats out if the water now.

Chances are 90% postponement of the the Women's helm, scheduled for the 30th, and hopefully we will hold it on the scheduled postponement date on the following weekend. Hopefully we won't get yet another storm coming in that will affect us by Sept 5/6, it is too early to forecast that now.
