Opening of “Hyundai Terrace Commission: Kelly Akashi” and “Whitney Biennial 2026”

This spring, “Whitney Biennial 2026” and “Hyundai Terrace Commission: Kelly Akashi” open on March 8 — inviting visitors into an interconnected dialogue spanning from the ’s galleries to its fifth-floor terrace.

Now in its third year, the Whitney Museum and Hyundai Motor’s 10-year partnership supports both the Whitney Biennial and Hyundai Terrace Commission. Experience “Whitney Biennial 2026” and the newest Hyundai Terrace Commission, both on view from March 8 through August 23, 2026.
