We’re excited to share some progress on our ongoing project: a Mitsubishi Mirage makeover!

We’re currently in the early stages of the process, which involves smoothing out the surface of the car in preparation for a washover repaint.

A washover repaint is a type of paint job where a new coat of paint is applied over the existing paint. This is a great option for cars that have minor scratches or dents, or if you simply want to change the color of your car.

In order to achieve a smooth, flawless finish, it's important to take the time to properly prep the surface of the car. This involves sanding down any imperfections and filling in any scratches or dents. Once the surface is smooth, we can then begin applying the new paint.

Today, our team is diligently focused on surface preparation, the crucial first step in achieving a flawless paint job. This involves:

Cleaning: We're giving the Chevy a thorough wash to remove any dirt, dust, or grime that could affect the paint's adhesion.

Sanding: Next, we're carefully sanding the surface to smooth out any imperfections and create a good texture for the paint to grip onto.

Patching: Any dents, scratches, or minor imperfections are being addressed and filled with appropriate materials to ensure a completely even surface.

These steps might seem simple, but they're absolutely essential for a long-lasting and stunning final result.
