Nakikiisa ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa paggunita ngayon ng National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors, and their Families.
βThat is why the Land Transportation Office, together with other government agencies whose work and functions are related to land transport, looks forward and will help and support the Philippine Road Safety Action Plan of the Department of Transportation. We see this roadmap for road safety interventions whose goal is to achieve zero deaths on the road as a vital component in implementing road safety to once and for all put an end to the torment experienced by families of road crash victims, not just financially but more importantly, emotionally,β diin ni LTO Chief Tugade.
βThe idea of losing a loved one due to road accidents is a painful feeling that is unfathomable, but is totally preventable through proper education, awareness, and discipline,β dagdag pa nito.
Ang aktibidad ay alinsunod na rin sa Republic Act No. 11468 o ang An Act Designating the Third Sunday of November Every Year as The National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivor and Their Families.
