His courage eventually took him beyond the Philippines. In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he spent five years mastering the grill, growing into a Team Leader, and proving that Filipino excellence belongs on the global stage. But Dan refused to stop climbing.
He set his sights even higher.
Today, he proudly serves as a Demi Chef de Partie aboard AIDA Cruises, carrying with him fourteen years of experience built through sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
His expertise in hot kitchen operations, fruit carving, desserts, and creating signature pasta and burger concepts reflects not only his creativity, but the countless hours of dedication behind every plate he serves.
Yet behind every achievement lies one quiet pain.
His father never lived long enough to witness the life his son fought so hard to build.

He never saw the dreams becoming reality.
