"As long as it fits your budget, an EV is just so practical," shared GAC Aion V owner Rommel Laranjo after switching from a traditional diesel SUV.
His daily commute became easier, and with home charging supported by their solar setup, he was able to cut down on fuel expenses of up to ₱3,000 a week.
The real test came during a family trip from Cebu to Mindanao. After two RoRo crossings, long waiting times, and a full day with the air conditioning running, they arrived home with 36% battery and 183 km of range still remaining.
For Rommel, going electric is about more than saving on fuel. It’s about having a vehicle that’s practical for daily drives, comfortable for the family, and capable of taking them farther with confidence.
