Somewhere between the road and the trail, the adventure changes.
Dan’s Philippines recently introduced the Norda Run FW26 lineup, a collection built for moving through terrain rather than simply getting from one place to another.
That idea feels familiar to us at OverlandKings.
Overlanding has never really been just about the truck. It is about everything that happens once you leave the pavement. Walking a new trail, checking a route, setting up camp, finding a viewpoint or simply going a little further because there is something interesting around the corner.
Norda approaches footwear with that same kind of purpose. Lightweight construction, Dyneema uppers for strength and abrasion resistance, Vibram outsoles for traction and designs that are built around stability, grip and movement across changing terrain. It is serious trail running equipment, but the thinking behind it translates naturally to the way we spend time outdoors.
Because when the truck stops, your adventure does not have to.
That is probably the part of Norda that caught our attention. Not trying to make a shoe for overlanding, but making something that fits the lifestyle around it.
The evening was rounded out with food from Sarsa Field Kitchen, good conversations and a reminder that adventure can take a lot of forms.
Sometimes it is four wheels through the mountains.
Sometimes it is two feet taking you the rest of the way.
