We are proud to announce the successful completion and delivery of 52 outrigger fishing boats for the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). These vessels, proudly built by DM8 Composites, were specifically designed upon BFAR’s request to follow the familiar outrigger configuration — a design trusted by local fishermen for its stability and efficiency at sea. Each boat is capable of carrying around 12 pakura, supporting daily fishing operations across the country.

Now deployed from Luzon to Mindanao, these boats are helping empower coastal communities and strengthen the livelihoods of Filipino fishermen. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality, locally manufactured vessels that respond to real community needs.

PBBM Graces PCG 122nd Founding Anniversary

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) celebrated today its 122nd Founding Anniversary at Pier 15, South Harbour, Port Area, Manila. It aimed to showcase the PCG’s achievements as well as expressing the heartfelt gratitude to various agencies and institutions that brought great contributions to the performance of the mandated missions of this organization.

The activity was graced by the President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. .

The President received from PCG Commandant Admiral Abu a replica of the new High Speed Response Boats made by DM8 Composites (Dynacast Shipbuilding & Repairs Inc. and Dynamic Power)

DM8 Composites has proudly and successfully delivered the first batch of the 40 Patrol boats. The boats were delivered by sea from Danao city (our shipyard) to Pier 13 Manila, without any stops and without having to refuel.
DM8 PCG boats are designed to achieve 40 kts speed with 2x 300 hp OXE diesel engines, and offer a range up to 420 NM.

Congratulations to DM8 and to all the Dynamic group for being part of the PCG noble achievements and for being an essential participant in the modernization of the PCG patrol vessels.
