Parañaque has also deferred the implementation of the No Contact Apprehension Policy, according to public information office chief Erel Cabatbat.

In a message, Cabatbat says the city is still studying the system before resuming its implementation.

The Supreme Court has lifted the TRO against NCAP in six cities, with local government units given the green light to resume the system today, October 5, 2026.

DOUBLE-DIGIT SPIKE SET FOR DIESEL PRICES

Following four days of trading, an industry source told The STAR that diesel prices are expected to increase by not more than P20 per liter.

Gasoline prices, meanwhile, are projected to rise by not more than P10 per liter next week.
