Emission Testing and PMVICs are often mentioned together, but they serve two different functions.

Emission Testing focuses solely on measuring the pollutants that come out of your vehicle’s exhaust. It checks whether your emissions are within the standards set for cleaner air and reduced environmental impact.

Meanwhile, PMVIC (Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center) inspections take a broader approach.
They assess your vehicle’s safety systems — including brakes, lights, steering, suspension, and other components that ensure your car is safe for daily use.
