Job Description:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the financial reporting, accounting functions, and budgeting processes within the company. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both finance and accounting, with strong leadership skills and a focus on improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide insights to senior management on financial performance, trends, and variances.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate projections of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes to enhance profitability. Implement effective financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards. Oversee tax filings and reporting in collaboration with external auditors.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business maintains adequate funding and can meet its obligations.
- Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, including investments, acquisitions, and new business ventures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and developing their skills in financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- Atleast of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in the gasoline or energy industry is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with industry regulations, including tax laws and environmental compliance.
