The Palisade will be categorized as a premium midsized SUV that’s equipped with versatile cargo space and passenger room. Outside, the front has got some big road presence, especially with the restyled cascading front grille, highlighting the full volume over-fenders and muscular stance. It’s accentuated by slim LED headlights and separated front lighting for daytime running lights, indicators, and fog lamps.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
Powering the Hyundai Palisade is a 2.2-liter Euro 4 compliant turbo-diesel engine. The diesel fed powerplant produces 197hp and 441 Nm of torque. For suspension, the Korea crossover rides on MacPherson struts at the front and Mult-link with self-leveler shock absorbers at the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at all four corners of the vehicle. Steering comes from a motor-driver power steering system. The steering column also comes with a tilt and telescopic-adjustable function.
Exterior
The Hyundai Palisade comes with LED type headlights that come with auto light control along with LED daytime running lights. Under the hood, the crossover features a hood insulator. It also features a dark chrome grille, chrome moldings for the bumpers, and power side mirrors with folding and heating and integrated with puddle lamps and side turn signals. The door handles are color-matched to the body of the vehicle. The Palisade also features a sunroof, rear LED fog lamps and Backlite glass that comes tinted and with a heater. Climate controls come in the form of a three-zone automatic temperature control. A power tailgate is also standard in the vehicle aiding with access in the rear.
Interior
The interior of the Hyundai Palisade comes with a beige and black color scheme. The seats only come in leather material. The first row seats come with heating and ventilation functions along with power adjustability and lumbar support along with a cushion extension for the driver. The second and third rows of the vehicle come in a 60/40.
