Pick up. Deliver. Pick up. Deliver.

After all, the more you give, the more you receive.

THE PROVINCIAL AND CITY BUS INDUSTRIES ARE BLEEDING.

We urgently call on the President, Congress, DOTr, DOF, DOE, and LTFRB to act on the fare adjustment previously approved by the LTFRB.

Fuel now accounts for approximately 45–60% of bus operating costs, while regulated fares have not kept pace with rising fuel, maintenance, financing, compliance, and labor expenses.

Bus operators cannot simply raise fares or impose fuel surcharges. At the same time, we continue to carry the costs of fleet modernization and the responsibility of keeping public transportation moving.

This is not a threat to stop operations. It is a warning that continued losses may soon make operations financially impossible.

When buses can no longer operate, commuters also suffer: fewer buses, fewer trips, longer waiting times, disrupted connections, and lost livelihoods.

We are not asking for ayuda or charity. We are asking for urgent action.
We are asking for a fair and sustainable fare.

Public transport has a responsibility to serve.
It must also be allowed to survive.

ACT NOW. BEFORE MORE BUSES CAN NO LONGER LEAVE THEIR TERMINALS.

Signed in solidarity by the Provincial Bus Operators Association of the Philippines, NSNPPBI, SOLUBOA, and Mega Manila Consortium.
