Overall – 4th Place 🏅

When we found out that Yeli had no classes on Monday, nagpahabol pa mi ug register para makaapil siya. May pa lagi’g wa. Char! 😂

After more than a year in pushbiking, Yeli has already fallen, stumbled, and gotten hurt countless times. That’s why I know, with all my heart, that he would never intentionally hurt another child just to win or make it to the podium.

Some would say, “Pag gisumbag gani ka, sumbag jud balik.” But that’s never what we taught him. We always remind him to tell an adult and let the grown-ups handle the situation. That’s why, Yeli has never been the aggressive type.

In this sport, we only remind him of the basics: strong legs, strong arms, and proper body position to stay balanced and avoid injuries.

A lot happened today, but I hope you never doubt yourself, Yeli. You are strong. You are brave. And more than any medal or podium finish, we hope you continue to enjoy this sport and grow through every race.

Always remember that Mommy and Daddy have your back. Always. ❤️

To everyone who stood by Yeli today, checked on him, cheered for him, and showed him kindness and support—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your encouragement means more than you know, not just to Yeli but to us as parents as well. We truly appreciate each one of you. ❤️

This was another race without expectations. The first week of classes was an adjustment for Yeli, he would come home from school already asleep. As an academic mommy, I always remind him that school comes first and racing is just an extracurricular activity.

So there was no papawis, no rollers, and no proper training leading up to this race. We only managed to squeeze in a one-day training session at the Victory Pushbike Kids Headquarters, plus some race strategies from Coach before the event. And this was the result.

Thank you, as always, Coach Wick! The improvement was really surprising. Maka-proud kaayo! ❤️

Congratulations, Ye! Ang galeeeng 👏🏻👏🏻 Another race and another chapter added to your journey. May this be one of many more memorable race results to come. 😊
