Honda City GN × Modulo JDM Muffler 🇯🇵

Pipe size matters—bigger isn’t always better.

This Honda City GN came to us already running a 2” catback exhaust, with the client experiencing a noticeable loss of response and torque at the low end.

For this setup, we changed the system to a 1.75” catback exhaust, a pipe size better suited to the goal of this naturally aspirated daily driver, and paired it with a Modulo JDM muffler.

Setup:
• 1.75” Custom Catback Exhaust
• Modulo JDM Muffler 🇯🇵
• Stainless steel piping
• Custom mounting & alignment

Exhaust upgrades aren’t simply about installing the biggest pipe that will fit. Pipe diameter affects exhaust-gas velocity and the engine’s torque characteristics, especially on smaller naturally aspirated engines.

That’s why we consider the engine, intended use and overall setup before choosing pipe size.

Mitsubishi Triton × Straight Pipe × MagnaFlow Exhaust Tip

For this Mitsubishi Triton, the client had one clear request: he wanted his truck LOUD.

So instead of trying to tone the exhaust down with a muffler, the client chose a straight-pipe full exhaust setup to get the aggressive diesel sound he was looking for.
