6G… 1 petabit… 🤙🏼

Japan just melted the internet speed record by hitting a mind-blowing 1.02 petabits per second.

That is over 1 million gigabits, making it roughly 4 million times faster than your home Wi-Fi.

To put that into perspective, you could theoretically download the entire Netflix streaming library in just one single second.

The internet is losing its mind over this breakthrough, especially because of how the engineers pulled it off.

Instead of ripping up streets to lay massive new equipment, Japanese researchers packed a next-generation 19-core optical fiber into a cable the exact same thickness as standard internet lines.

It is the digital equivalent of turning a narrow, congested country road into a blazing-fast 19-lane superhighway without changing the width of the street.

While you won't get these speeds on your phone next week, this milestone officially lays the groundwork for the 6G revolution.

We are talking about the foundation for instant artificial intelligence, flawless virtual reality, and automated smart cities.

Buffering is officially on notice, and the future of the web just took a massive leap forward.

Good job…

Planning to go solar at home? It could soon cost less and take less time. House Bill 10431, the Sariling Kuryente Act, would remove the certificates, utility approvals, and added fees currently required for personal-use rooftop solar and battery systems — even when you're not exporting power to the grid. Less paperwork, lower cost, faster installs. Full story at the link 👇
