All About Tyres 2015 Ltd Come and see us either in Wakelin St, Kamo or on SH1 Bream Bay. We sell, fit, balance and (where possible) repair tyres.

All About Tyres has been in business since 1992 and was bought by the original owner's son in 2015. We have rims and related accessories available and can perform wheel alignments. We stock a range of tyre brands, including:
-Bridgestone
-Firestone
-Yokohama
-Supercat

We are family-operated and family-oriented. Keeping families safe on the road since 1992.

For more information about tyre disposal fees and the tyre stewardship fee, please refer to tyrewise.co.nz. Both fees will be charged by retailers during the transition, then from 1 Sept, only the stewardship fee will be charged.

From 1 March 2024, waste minimisation regulations for tyres come into force. A tyre stewardship fee is to be paid by tyre importers, to be passed through the supply chain through to end users. Tyre disposal fees continue to be charged aswell, at least until 1 September. After that date, Tyrewise intends to cover the cost of the collection and recycling of used tyres from the stewardship fees. At this point, we still have not yet been advised what exactly the costs will be, though we are of the understanding that the requirement to on-charge customers will be enforced. We hope to have more information on this before the regulations come into force....

The teams at All About Tyres Kamo and Bridgestone BreamBay All About Tyres would like to wish all a safe and merry Christmas.

Please be aware of tyres being sold online "cheap". They may appear to cost less initially, but they still need to be balanced and fitted to your vehicle. We suggest calling your preferred fitter before comitting to your purchase, so you can factor this into your total cost.

We are seeing many people thinking they have got themselves a bargain, only for reality to hit, when they get them put on their vehicle. We have even seen people buy a tyre online, only to discover that it's the wrong tyre for their vehicle. These situations can be avoided. We suggest talking to your local tyre fitter and get advice before you pull your wallet out.
