Beat the heat this summer! Remember to regularly check and clean your vehicle's air conditioning filters to ensure optimal performance and cool comfort on the road. A well-maintained AC system keeps you comfortable and can improve fuel efficiency.

โ„๏ธSet the Temperature: Start by setting the AC to the coldest temperature setting.

โ„๏ธTurn on the Fan: Switch on the fan to the highest setting.

โ„๏ธListen for Unusual Noises: Pay attention to any unusual noises like rattling or hissing, which may indicate a problem with the AC system.

โ„๏ธFeel the Airflow: Place your hand in front of the vents and check if the airflow is strong and consistent. Weak airflow could be a sign of clogged filters or ducts.

โ„๏ธCheck for Cool Air: After a few minutes, check if the air coming out of the vents is noticeably cooler than the ambient temperature. If it's not, there may be a refrigerant issue.

โ„๏ธSmell the Air: Sniff the air coming from the vents. If there are foul or musty odours, it could indicate mould or bacteria growth in the AC system and that your cabin filter may need replacing.

โ„๏ธMonitor for Rapid Cooling: A well-functioning AC should be able to cool the cabin relatively quickly. If it takes a long time to cool down, it might need servicing.

โ„๏ธTest Different Modes: Switch between different AC modes (e.g., recirculate, fresh air) and confirm that they work as expected.

โ„๏ธCheck Defrost Mode: Test the defrost mode to ensure it clears the windshield efficiently, as this function is vital for safety.

If you notice any issues during these checks, it's a good idea to have your vehicle's AC system inspected and serviced by a qualified technician to ensure it's in top condition for hot weather.

Regularly check your car's coolant levels to ensure your engine stays in top shape. Low coolant can lead to overheating, which can be costly to repair. Remember to check when the engine is cool and add coolant as needed. It's an easy way to extend the life of your vehicle.

1. Safety First: Ensure your engine is cool before opening the hood.

2. Locate the Coolant Reservoir: Pop the hood and find the coolant reservoir, usually a translucent plastic tank with "MAX" and "MIN" markings.

3. Check the level: Look at the coolant level inside the reservoir. It should be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks. If it's below the "MIN" mark, it's time to top up.

4. Adding Coolant: If needed, add a mixture of coolant and water in a 50/50 ratio until it reaches the "MAX" mark.

5. Secure the Cap: Don't forget to securely fasten the reservoir cap.

Regularly checking your coolant helps prevent overheating and keeps your engine running smoothly. Stay cool out there! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
