About Greg
I’m a Whangarei local, based in Whangarei. I have a significant amount of experience to call on, having been riding for 43 years in total with 34 years of that being on the road. I currently ride on road (including gravel) and off road.
I’ve been a motorcycle instructor since 2016 with experience in licence tests, track based instruction, delivering ACC Ride Forever courses, and now I’m starting to extend into guided adventure rides.

I want to ensure I can continue to deliver the quality service our community has come to expect from Roach.

11th of July Restricted and fulls

12th of July Restricted and fulls

13th of July Basic handling skills test

14th of July Restricted and fulls

Once there full they are full.

Hi Team,

I wanted to share some news—bittersweet, but exciting.

I’ll soon be hanging up my helmet as a motorcycle instructor and license assessor, as I’m heading overseas for a new chapter. My final licence dates will be on the 12th and 13th of July.

There are still plenty of opportunities to book in before then, so if you've been thinking about getting your licence, now’s the perfect time!

Thank you all for your continued support, great conversations, and shared passion over the years. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every moment ❤️

Busy weekend doing licences.
3 fulls and 1 Resticted on Saturday and spent the afternoon exploring local roads enjoying the nice weather.

Sunday I had 14 Basic handling skills test, the weather was so nice in the morning then heavily down pours in the afternoon 🙃

Well done to the Pipiwai family that come sat there Basic handling skills test together.

Basic Handling Skills test this Sunday!!!

Practical side of the learners motorcycle licence and the first step.

I have had a some spaces open up.

I provide the motorcycle GN 125, helemt and gloves.

Cost is 100. If you already know how to ride.

It is at Placemakers car park.
Next dates note until end of May.

Next date for restricted and full licences - 12th of April.
Need to have legal LAMS approved motorcycle.
Restricted- there is no time wait between Learners and restricted. Cost is 170.
Full- have to held restricted licence for atleast 9 month. Cost is 100.

Spaces are filling up fast. Get in before we lose daylight and the nice weather 😊
